MISSIONS / SERVE SAN CLEMENTE

SERVE SAN CLEMENTE 2013

Join us for our annual weekend of getting outside our church walls and serving our community together as a church! Past projects have included yard work, painting, maintenance, building, visiting, cleaning, and more! The idea is to offer our service to our neighbors, community, and local Missions partners in order to share tangible expressions of the love of Jesus. We want your whole family there to experience the joy that comes from getting our hands dirty in service to the Lord and to others. We’ve got some meaningful projects in the works, but would love your project ideas too. Contact Stacy at stacy@theshoreline.org. Sign up online, at the office M-Th, or at church on Sunday.

What to expect:
Saturday, November 9th
Join us at 211 Avenida Fabricante for breakfast @ 8am. We’ll pray, eat, pack our lunches, and go out together in groups to serve our city. Meet back at the church facility at 5pm for dinner, sharing, and worship. You’ll be done by 6pm!

Sunday, November 10th
Meet at San Clemente High School for breakfast and packing lunches at 8am. We’ll move to the patio for an all-church service from 9-10am (Kids Ministry will be provided for Preschool and below). After we worship together, we’ll go back to our project sites to serve for the rest of the day. Meet back at the church facility at 4:30pm for dinner, sharing, slide show, and worship. You’ll be done by 6pm!

Examples of projects include: painting, gardening, creek clean-up, repair, general maintenance, elderly visitation, and more

Each participant must turn in a medical release form

Checks should be made out to The Shoreline Church with “Serve SC” and the participants’ name(s) in the memo

Scholarships are available on a need basis. Just ask!

Sign-up deadline is Sunday, November 3rd, but the sooner you sign up, the better we are able to plan.
