Haiti Mission Trip san clemente churchKids Around the World first started to work in Haiti in 2009. In January 2010 they had a container of food and a handicap playground ready to ship just days before the 7.0 earthquake struck Port Au Prince on January 12, 2010. Within a week, their relief container was headed to Haiti and they soon sent in a team to explore ways they could bring hope to the millions of displaced people through their partners on the ground. Since 2009, through these amazing partners and so many great donors, they have built 75 playgrounds and shipped over 5 million meals to Haiti.

Haiti Mission Trip - Kids Around the World

It was just couple of years ago they launched their “Hope for Haiti” Haiti Mission Trips campaign out of a small network of pastors who were committed to helping Haiti physically and spiritually. It was a unique opportunity to get volunteers from all over the country to join in that effort and travel to Haiti multiple times a year. These teams would build playgrounds, distribute food and train local children’s workers which would strengthen the church and encourage them to be the "hope" that their people desperately needed them to be.

On this particular trip, we will be building five playgrounds, training kids ministry workers, distributing food, doing soccer outreaches, and blessing kids in need. We hope you can join the team and experience the rich joy that so often characterizes the people of the poorest country in the western hemisphere!

Kids are welcome and encouraged to come under parent supervision. Click here to learn more about the haiti mission trip and kids around the world.
