Typhoon Haiyan, one of the most powerful storms on record to make landfall, battered the Philippines on November 8, 2013 and caused catastrophic damage. Without a doubt, it is one of the strongest storms to ever make landfall. Nearly 6,000 people are believed to have died, and some 3.6 million are displaced.

The Aftermath:
In the wake of the typhoon, the greatest needs include clean water, food, and shelter. Our church raised over $10,000 to send in aid relief, and we will also be sending a team from February 3-13 to help on the ground. In the meantime, we are packing a container with meals and clothing in order to tangibly express the love of Jesus to these precious people.

How Can We Help?
Here's where you come in! YOU have the opportunity to help the typhoon victims by showing up to the new facility (211 Avenida Fabricante, SC) on Tuesday, January 14th to help sort, pack, and load clothing in a Philippines Container Pack that will be shipped to the Philippines. Whatever time you have to give, we'll put you to work!
