At The Shoreline Church, we firmly believe in the power of prayer.  Prayer not only has the power to change circumstances, it more importantly has the power to change the heart of the one who is praying. When we approach the throne of God with thanksgiving and expectation, we undoubtedly will leave changed. Through communication with our Heavenly Father we are able to call upon his power to give us peace, comfort, correction, direction, and whatever else we may need.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7

In this chapter of Philippians, we are told that prayer is the antidote to worry and that when we choose to talk to God rather than ourselves, we will experience God’s peace, even when it makes so sense to be at peace. There is no problem too big or too small for God. He wants you to talk to him about all the areas in your life. If it’s big enough to worry about, then it’s big enough to pray about.

The staff and volunteers at The Shoreline consider it a privilege to be able to pray for you.  When we gather together in prayer, we increase the bonds of community and are able to share in each other’s burdens and triumphs. If you are in need of prayer, please fill out the form below and our prayer team will be happy to pray for you. (If you’d like to remain anonymous, you can leave the personal information blank).
