God wants to use you to make a difference! Whether you’re good with numbers, words, technology, or people, God wants to use your gifts and skills to make a difference. One of the best ways to meet people, develop relationships, and grow as a follower of Christ is to serve at The Shoreline. If you call The Shoreline your home, then we want to serve alongside you building up the body of Christ together.  We know that we wouldn’t be able to pull off each Sunday service, ministry, or special event without the help of the Holy Spirit and a whole lot of awesome, willing, servant-hearted volunteers. At The Shoreline, we want to foster a culture of serving! We are confident that through the giving of your time and talents you will experience a multitude of blessings, meet a ton of great people, and become a little more like Christ. Below you’ll see a brief description of some of our ministries and you’ll find a registration form to let us know you’re interested! Thanks again for your willingness to jump in and serve!

*NOTE: If you are interested in serving in an area involving minors or money, we have a more extensive process for involvement and we are required by law to obtain a background check for you. If you are interested in one of those areas we will follow up with you directly.

We long to see a child grow up through our Kids and Student Ministries actively pursuing a relationship with Christ, equipped with a Biblical worldview, and empowered with the tools to do Kingdom work. You can translate your passion for kids and students to life changing action behind-the-scenes or through weekly interaction with kids and teens.

We only get one chance to make a first impression. We invite people to connect and become part of the family at The Shoreline and have a great time while serving! Parking, greeting, ushering, hospitality, communion prep, Welcome Table, or safety and security team; it is all about loving people and helping everyone find welcoming community at church.

While Sunday is our “Main Event”, there is a lot that goes into preparing for our weekly worship experience. Opportunities to use your skills and abilities include administrative support and data entry, sustaining our welcoming environments, maintaining our building and equipment, and construction trade projects. All these vital behind the scenes activities keep our church alive and ready for ministry.

Effortless excellence is what we want people to experience on any given Sunday. We work diligently behind the scenes and on stage to make our worship services “happen.” Computers, lights, and all the latest technology come together to enhance our worship experience. No experience required to join this team! Training is a part of the process. We also encourage those with the desire to perform to participate in an audition.
