We have been heavily invested as a church in a remote village in Veracruz, Mexico for the last few years. We are working through a church there to bring the gospel to people and see other churches planted in the area. We are also working to bring joy to kids, medical treatment to those who need it, and support for the church and pastor in various ways. Be on the lookout for our next trip there, and make plans for the whole family to join us!

When we ran a 4-day medical outreach in a tiny Mexican village recently, we quickly learned of some extreme needs that couldn’t be treated by the people or supplies we brought. Some needed surgery, others needed specialists to diagnose, most needed money for transportation to the hospital. The Lord led us to begin a medical missions fund, and we invite you to donate to that fund so that people we encounter with extremes medical need can be taken care of. We also plan to begin regular medical outreaches in Tijuana and would love to have you along (contact Brad deMarquette if you’d like to come with us)!
–> Please be sure to specify “medical missions fund” when you donate, and email Judi Handy to let her know about your donation.

Su Refugio’s mission is to care for orphans and widows in their distress for the glory of God (James 1:27). Their purpose is to provide food, housing, education and medical care to orphans and children in need, to provide vocational training to widows and single moms so they can provide for their families, and to assist in the establishment of churches. They are running several trips this year and invite you along to Peru, Paraguay, or Argentina as they minister the love of Jesus. Click here for more info about trips.

Meeting monthly this fall from 12:45-3:00pm in the Conference Room (Oct 21, Nov 18, Dec 9)

A group of grandmothers and others will meet monthly to support gogos (grandparents) who are raising their orphaned grandchildren due to the AIDS pandemic, in the village of Thowolo, Malawi. We will be praying for their physical and spiritual needs and raising funds to provide fertilizer, maize, blankets, mosquito nets and more. We have an official charter from the Gogo Grandmothers organization and follow their guidelines. Click here for more info.
