2019 Point In Time Count
Wednesday, January 23
The Point In Time is a biennial count of people experiencing homelessness on a given point in time. The count provides vital information that helps the county better understand homelessness in the community. It helps the organizations working to end homelessness in Orange County identify which services are needed, identify trends and changes over time, and decide how best to work together to collaboratively solve this complex social issue. Family Assistance Ministries will once again be a deployment site utilized by the county for volunteers. Interested in serving as a volunteer in Dana Point, San Clemente, or San Juan Capistrano?

Promised Land Study
Begins Wednesday, January 30
Every Christian has the responsibility to provoke the Jewish people to envy with the Gospel. How are you doing? This is a course open to all who are interested in understanding the need to share the Gospel of Jesus with the Jewish people and the Promised Land of Israel. “This study guide is a ‘crash course’ in what the Bible says about who Israel is, why Israel is important, and our Christian responsibility toward the Jewish people. It is my desire that through this study guide, God will set your heart on fire, as He has mine, for the people who are referred to as ‘the apple of His eye.”’ – Todd Morehead, Director of Promised Land Movie

Care for Families in Crisis

Ongoing
Safe Families for Children (SFFC) is an innovative collaboration between churches, volunteers and child care professionals designed to support at-risk children and parents in need.  SFFC is an opportunity for volunteers to have a powerful impact in the lives of others while practicing biblical hospitality and extending the love of Christ to people in need — all from their own home!  There are several ways to get involved: open up your home to host a child for a temporary period of time, lend your support to a host family, or mentor a parent in crisis.
–> Contact Susanna Lomeli for more information.
