Local Serve Day
May 12
We’re lining up some local outreach projects and we encourage your entire family to jump in! Projects will be running all over the community on this day, and we will plug you in once you register online. Serving together is a great way to get more connected with the body of Christ and make an impact in others’ lives at the same time. Bring a sack lunch and a friend!

Care for Families in Crisis
Safe Families for Children (SFFC) is an innovative collaboration between churches, volunteers and child care professionals designed to support at-risk children and parents in need.  SFFC is an opportunity for volunteers to have a powerful impact in the lives of others while practicing biblical hospitality and extending the love of Christ to people in need — all from their own home!  There are several ways to get involved: open up your home to host a child for a temporary period of time, lend your support to a host family, or mentor a parent in crisis.

YoungLife Leaders Needed
Do you want to be a leader?  Perhaps the question is better framed this way: Do you want to do something that is both fun and meaningful? Do you want to do something that is bigger than yourself, but also brings out the best in you? Do you want to go on adventures and watch on as God uses you to change kids’ lives while changing yours?  If the answer to any of these is yes, let’s talk. We will train you and help you find the best fit. All you need is to love Jesus and to love kids. There are so many opportunities to jump into God’s rescue plan for both middle school and high school students in South Orange County!

Help Prevent Homelessness for Families in Need

Our friends at Family Assistance Ministries are in need of some help as they assist around 4,000 clients each month with food, counseling, transportation, housing, and other aid.  Join their team and help make a difference in the lives of people in need right here in our community!

Choose one of these volunteer opportunities:
– Food pantry (food distribution)
– Front office (phone & client intake)
– Drivers (food rescue from stores)
– Babysitters (for shelter children Thursday evenings)
– Resale Store helpers and drivers

Welcome Refugees
Join us sometime as we head to Anaheim to serve refugees who have resettled in the US with nothing but the clothes on their backs!  Our partner, Voice of the Refugees, comes alongside to meet tangible needs and often spiritual needs, as they build relationships and help in the resettling process (school registration, job search, English tutoring, childcare, and more).  We’ve been invited in to help care for these folks and be a Christlike example to them in their time of need.  Must be in high school or older.
